| Attraction Description / Itinerary | : | Perge, Aspendos & Kurşunlu Waterfall Tour from Antalya
Depart in the morning to explore Perge, one of the most important ancient cities of Pamphylia and the site where many of the statues now displayed in the Antalya Museum were unearthed. Originally settled by the Hittites around 1500 BC, Perge was also visited by St. Paul during his first missionary journey.
Discover impressive remains including the grand city gate with twin towers, a long colonnaded street once lined with shops and mosaics, the stadium, agora, Roman baths, and gymnasium. The theatre stage features finely carved marble reliefs, while additional carvings from the city are exhibited in the stadium, making Perge a fascinating site for history and archaeology enthusiasts.
The tour continues to the beautiful Kurşunlu Waterfalls, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings. After lunch by the river, the journey proceeds to Aspendos, home to one of the best-preserved Roman theatres in Anatolia, renowned for its remarkable architecture and outstanding acoustics.
