Pamukkale & Hierapolis Day Tour from Antalya

Pamukkale and Hierapolis rank among the oldest thermal spa cities in the world. The thermal waters of Pamukkale have offered beauty and health since ancient times, attracting visitors for centuries. Known in Turkish as “Cotton Castle,” Pamukkale is a true natural wonder with its famous white limestone terraces.

Legend has it that Queen Cleopatra visited Hierapolis for its healing thermal waters, breathtaking terraces, and natural beauty. This full-day tour focuses on experiencing the unique combination of nature, history, and wellness.

The journey begins with a scenic drive from Antalya through the Taurus Mountains, passing Salda Lake, before reaching Pamukkale around midday. Upon arrival, there is ample free time to explore the travertine terraces, walk through the ancient city of Hierapolis, and visit its impressive necropolis and tombs.

On the return journey to Antalya, there is a stop in Tavas to visit a traditional carpet loom, where you can learn about the Turkish art of carpet weaving. This tour is an ideal day trip combining natural wonders and cultural heritage.
