Attraction Description / Itinerary : Manavgat Bazaar & Boat Trip from Side
Don’t miss the famous Manavgat Bazaar, held twice a week and known as one of the largest and most colourful markets in the region. The traditional section of the bazaar is especially popular, where local farmers sell fresh fruits and vegetables brought down from the Taurus Mountains. You will also find a wide variety of clothing, textiles, bags, and souvenirs—bargaining is part of the experience and a must in Turkey.
The tour also includes a relaxing Manavgat River boat trip, with stops for swimming and sunbathing where the river meets the sea. Lunch is served on board, followed by free time at the vibrant Manavgat market, where local mountain women sell fresh produce alongside replica designer T-shirts, shorts, jeans, and handbags.
During the excursion, you will sail through the scenic Manavgat River, pass a trout farm, and may even spot river turtles along the way. The tour also includes time near the Manavgat Waterfalls, where milky white water rushes over the rocks, surrounded by shaded tea gardens and riverside restaurants—an ideal place to cool off and relax.
