Attraction Description / Itinerary : Pamukkale & Hierapolis Day Trip from Side
Pamukkale, meaning “Cotton Castle” in Turkish, is one of Turkey’s most famous natural wonders, located in Denizli Province. It is renowned for its white travertine terraces formed by mineral-rich thermal waters. Above these terraces lies the ancient city of Hierapolis, built directly on the limestone formations and offering impressive Roman ruins and historical significance.
The tour starts with an early morning pick-up around 04:00 from your hotel in Side. After a breakfast stop in Korkuteli (not included), the journey continues with visits to a glass factory and vine & textile factory shops. Lunch is taken en route (not included).
Upon arrival in Pamukkale, you will have approximately 3 hours of free time to explore the travertine terraces and the ancient city of Hierapolis. Guests may also choose to swim in the famous Cleopatra’s Thermal Pool or the Red Water Pool (both optional and not included).
Dinner is included before the return journey to Side, with a short rest stop along the way. Arrival back at the hotel is approximately 23:00.
