| Attraction Description / Itinerary : A Full-Day Journey to Nature and History Experience the stunning beauty and history of Dalyan on a full-day boat tour from Marmaris. To ensure comfort throughout the trip, we use our best 3-storey boats, equipped with sunbeds on the terrace, modern amenities including showers and toilets, and two fully stocked bars open all day. Morning Departure Your day begins with a hotel pickup around 8:30 AM, followed by a transfer to Marmaris Harbor where your boat awaits. Enjoy the crystal-clear waters and blue skies as the journey begins. On the way to Dalyan, the boat stops at Aquarium Bay for a refreshing 30-minute swim in the pristine waters. Explore Dalyan National Park Dalyan National Park is home to some of Turkey’s most impressive natural wonders: Iztuzu Beach (Turtle Beach): A 7 km-long stretch of golden sand separating the Mediterranean Sea and the fresh waters of Köyceğiz Lake. Swim in both salt and fresh water and, if lucky, spot the endangered Loggerhead Turtles (Caretta Caretta) in their natural habitat. Kaunos Ancient Lycian Temple Tombs: Accessible by smaller canal boats, the ancient tombs offer a glimpse into the region’s rich history. Knowledgeable guides explain the cultural and historical significance of this ancient Lycian site. Relax in the Thermal Mud Baths After exploring the tombs, visit the thermal mud baths near Dalyan. Bathing in these natural thermal pools is said to refresh your skin and promote a youthful glow. Clean off in nearby showers and enjoy refreshments at the on-site cafeteria. Return to Marmaris After a day full of exploration, swimming, and relaxation, the boat departs Dalyan in the late afternoon, arriving back in Marmaris by approximately 7:30 PM.
