For this tour, we pick you up from your hotel around 08:30 (Your pick-up time may vary depending on the location of your hotel) and head towards Kalkan. We arrive in Kalkan approximately 1.5 hours later.
Kalkan
Kalkan will be our first stop after leaving Fethiye. We will stay here for about 15 minutes and you will have the opportunity to take amazing photos. Kalkan, It is an important tourist destination on the Mediterranean coast. The area includes historical sites (such as Tlos and Kekova) and fine beaches (including Patara Beach and Kaputaş Beach). Kalkan is an old fishing town, and the only safe harbour between Kaş and Fethiye; it is known for its white-washed houses, descending to the sea, and its brightly coloured bougainvilleas. It averages 300 days of sunshine a year. The word "Kalkan" in Turkish either means shield or turbot referring to the town's fishing status. Until the early 1920s, nearly all of its inhabitants were Greeks and the town was called Kalamaki. Although part of the Antalya province administratively, Kalkan is connected more closely to Fethiye economically and for transportation.
Kas
After a short break in Kalkan, we continue on our way and after about 50 minutes of travel we arrive in Kaş. Here you will have the opportunity to tour the city and do some shopping. We give our lunch break (about 1 hour) in Kaş.
